Fieldcraft Studios’ £2 million crowdfunding campaign, iCancer, has been featured at Ted Med, a Ted X event at Imperial College London.

The brilliant Justyna Leja developed the iCancer treatment with Professor Essand as part of her PHD study at Uppsala University.

She was invited to speak at TEDMED about her virus and the crowdfunding campaign.

Created in the spirit of TED’s mission, “ideas worth spreading,” the TEDx program is designed to give communities, organisations and individuals the opportunity to stimulate dialogue through TED-like experiences at the local level.

We run a number of Fieldcraft Test Lab projects, be it supporting something we believe in or testing ideas and theories.  We wanted to test crowdfunding and we were curious to see if the public would want to donate directly to fund clinical trials and scientific research.
