When renewable energy provider, Pacific Green, needed to capture a high-stakes energy delivery, they called us. From night-time logistics to on-site crane assembly, we filmed it all – safely, strategically, and at scale. The result? A content library built for credibility, comms and clean energy growth.
The Challenge
Pacific Green, a global leader in renewable energy and battery storage, needed to capture the arrival of a critical piece of infrastructure from China – a cornerstone of their clean energy rollout.
But this wasn’t a typical delivery. The oversized shipment required police escorts, road closures and strict safety protocols as it made its way from Ramsgate Port. Pacific Green needed high-quality content to document this complex logistical operation – not just for immediate use, but to fuel stakeholder engagement, marketing and comms well into the future.
Our Approach
With deep experience in the renewable energy sector, our team understands the demands of filming in high-risk, safety-regulated environments – from offshore wind to live industrial sites.
We regularly operate in UK-based high-security locations, including offshore wind farms, active energy sites, and busy working ports, where elevated health and safety standards are non-negotiable.
We also bring decades of experience operating in hazardous and extreme conditions – from capturing expeditions with Sir Ranulph Fiennes in some of the world’s most hostile environments, to working with international NGOs in conflict zones and disaster-affected regions.
That expertise allows us to plan, adapt and operate with total professionalism, whatever the conditions. For Pacific Green, we worked closely with internal teams to ensure every moment of the operation was captured safely, seamlessly, and at the highest visual standard.
Our Solution
We worked closely with Pacific Green, their contractors, police escorts and on-site safety teams to plan and execute a safe, coordinated shoot across multiple environments.
Our team documented the night-time transportation of the battery from Ramsgate Port to the energy park — capturing the journey from both the air and ground, using drones and ground-based cameras to follow every stage.
We then filmed the assembly of the lift crane and installation of the battery unit, ensuring the operation was documented from all angles with both film and photography.
The result: a versatile content library, including:
-Stunning drone and ground-based video footage of the full operation
-A suite of high-resolution stills and short video clips, tailored for stakeholder updates, social media, internal comms, investor decks, and press
-Content designed for reusability — giving Pacific Green assets that work across multiple channels and campaigns
