Legendary explorer Sir Ranulph Fiennes is taking on ultra marathon, Marathon des Sables, the world’s toughest foot race.
The explorer is raising money for charity Marie Curie.
We have been commissioned to film Sir Ranulph in the Sahara and provide live broadcasts for BBC Breakfast and other national broadcast media from the field.
We will also be editing daily packages in the field for the Telegraph and fundraising content for Marie Curie.
Creating and managing social media engagement and blogger outreach is also in our remit to ensure we bring as much exposure as possible to the campaign.
Having spent 3 months covering Sir Ranulph Fiennes’ Everest Challenge in 2008 we are thrilled to be working again with both Sir Ranulph Fiennes and Marie Curie – who provide vital support for people with a terminal illness.
Innovative storytelling
We’re always trying to push the storytelling boundaries so we’re going to be running an experimental storytelling research project as part of our Fieldcraft Studios ‘Ventures’ projects whilst in the Sahara testing wearable technology for storytelling – read about this R&D project here.
Campaign Launch
We have worked with Marie Curie on the press launch producing content with Sir Ranulph, video and photographs, that has enabled them to secure media coverage with most national media outlets across print and broadcast.
